Terms of Service

The basis on which we investigate, what our reports are for, and the limits of what an investigation can promise.

What Wallsec provides

Wallsec provides onchain investigation, fund-tracing, identity-exposure review and forensic reporting services. Our output is evidence and analysis.

We prepare material for you to use with your legal counsel, your insurer, exchange compliance teams or the authority handling your report. We are not the party that returns funds.

Regulatory status

Wallsec is an independent digital-investigation firm. We are not a law firm, and we do not provide legal advice or regulated legal services.

We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or any other financial-services regulator. We do not provide financial advice, investment advice, or any regulated financial service.

Our work produces information and analysis for you to use with your own legal, financial or law-enforcement advisers. Nothing we provide should be treated as a substitute for professional advice from a regulated practitioner in your jurisdiction.

No outcome guarantee

We do not guarantee any particular outcome in any case. Whether an investigation produces a usable result depends on where the funds moved, how much time has passed, and whether third parties choose to act.

Any estimate of timing, traceability or likely result is an opinion based on the information available at the time, not a promise.

Fees

The initial review is confidential and carries no obligation. Any chargeable work is quoted in writing and agreed before it begins.

We never request payment in exchange for the release of funds, and we never ask for private keys, seed phrases or wallet credentials.

Onchain data

Our analysis draws on publicly available network data retrieved from third-party sources. That data may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable, and no single data point should be relied on as evidence on its own.

Wallsec is not affiliated with the Solana Foundation, the Ethereum Foundation, Etherscan, Solscan or any other network explorer or foundation.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that the information and documents you provide are accurate and that you are entitled to share them with us.

You agree not to use this site or our services for any unlawful purpose, and not to submit material belonging to a third party without their authority.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Wallsec is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of funds caused by the fraud itself, or for decisions taken by third parties on the basis of our report.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
