Tron's cost profile changes fraud behaviour. Because a transfer costs a fraction of the Ethereum equivalent, operators can afford far more hops, more intermediate wallets and more decoy movements.
A Tron trace often runs several times longer than an equivalent Ethereum trace for the same loss, and the account-activation and energy-sponsorship model tends to be the most productive clustering signal.
